Sr. Camille Martinez was the recipient of the Jefferson Davis Chamber of Commerce 2016 Citizen of the Year. A vowed member of the Sisters of the Eucharistic Covenant, Sr. Camille (pictured below) has lived her life being a light, welcoming all to the Living, Loving Body of Christ. Recently retired, Sr. Camille has now opened the door of Sabbath House Ministry. Together with Sr. Jeannette Touchet, they invite all to
'Come . . . so that God may refresh you.'

Seasonal Musings

“Trees are earth’s endless effort to speak to a listening heart.” My prayers have a similar trajectory. They start out a sapling, and grow skyward. I come to God as a child would.
